That Virgin Blonde Russian Hair You Once Bought..

It's been a while since Ive written a blog however something has sparked the need for me to share with you a new post!

Everyday I see a new hair extension company arising, and I'm all for people being self made and starting a career, however I too often see the word VIRGIN being advertised on blonde, black, blue? extensions ?? 

Ok so let's now be real - In one of my previous posts I mentioned the meaning of virgin hair. 

"VIRGIN HAIR - Virgin hair is completely unprocessed, and intact. To qualify as virgin hair, it must meet rigorous standards including: not been permed, dyed, coloured, bleached, chemically processed in any way. This also means it comes from a single donor, and all the cuticles are intact, running in the same direction."

Now that the meaning of virgin hair has been clarified I'd like you to remember that time you purchased virgin Russian hair that was platinum blonde.. As much as we like to say Russian hair is naturally blonde, unfortunately Russian hair is not naturally blonde. In fact, most of our donors actually have a medium brown natural hair colour. It is extremely rare to find a donor who has light blonde hair. If you had natural blonde long hair would you give it up? Unlikley. Hence why I must break it to you that you did not purchase genuine Russian hair. Unless you paid over about $5000 AUD. 

I am always real with my clients. Do we sell virgin hair? Yes. But it wont be the same price as our lifted/tinted Russian hair. Some suppliers are out here selling 'Russian Virgin hair' in every different colour for $500. I have to break it to you that they are lying to you. And if they could lie to you about the simplest thing then imagine what else they are lying to you about?!

Understand the meaning of virgin hair, do your research and stop believing that in order for hair to be Russian it must be 'virgin'. It is very rare that you would come across Virgin Russian hair unless of course it meets all virgin standards as listed above. You would expect to be paying over $2500 for any virgin Russian hair.
